As we move forward to a new normal, more things are beginning to start up once again.
The Tennis & Pickleball Courts have reopened for your pleasure and are now available for play.
Men’s & Women’s Golf Leagues will begin their seasons this month. We will be announcing the start dates soon.
The Driving Range should be opened within the next week or so. Hopefully, Mother Nature will continue to cooperate this week so we can finish up with the spillway and #8 fairway.
And the long awaited news….the Swimming Pool looks to be opening at the beginning of Phase 3 which is scheduled June 29. We are awaiting the guidelines from State and local authorities for their opening regulations. Staff is continuing to prepare the pool facilities with painting completed in the next couple of days and new drain grates are being replaced today. As soon as permission is granted we will start filling the pool with water. We will also require an inspection by the Health Department so they can issue the Club’s permit to open.
The light at the end of the tunnel seems not to be a train! Staying safe by following the State’s guidelines will assure us all that it’s not a train.
Finally, I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Jeff Bostic. Jeff will make a great General Manager to lead Bellefonte Country Club into a bright future. I look forward to working with Jeff for a seamless transition.
See you soon & often,
Stan Timberlake, General Manager
